Entek in Lebanon, OR, is seeking a skilled individual to assemble and service specialized machines and equipment. This role demands the ability to read blueprints and apply mechanical skills in various assembly tasks.
The candidate will travel for installation and provide local customer support, with an emphasis on effective communication and problem-solving abilities. A trade school program certificate or equivalent experience is required.
The position involves frequent exposure to loud environments and mechanical assembly tasks.

SUMMARY Assembles machines, equipment, and their subassemblies following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job may occasionally require supervisory responsibility of Assembly Tech I or Assembly Tech II positions if required to complete a job.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Trade school program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to travel. Position requires excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to work well with customers, other employees and supervisors.
Language skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced algebra, trigonometry. Ability to work with concepts such as limits, engineering equations. Reasoning Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
