Job Description

Controls Engineer designs, develops, and starts up industrial control systems used for controlling equipment, and machinery. Must have experience authoring original PLC code, and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or equivalent; or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Information

Language skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced algebra, trigonometry. Ability to work with concepts such as limits, engineering equations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
