Position Overview

This entry-level position is responsible for assembling medical kits, supporting production operations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and following documented work instructions to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assemble medical kits accurately according to work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Perform carton folding, labeling, component insertion, collating, packaging, weighing, scanning, and palletizing functions.
  • Assist with Clinical Pak preparation, including overwrap bag labeling and folding.
  • Support Tulip Kitting Cell operations under the direction of an Assembly Technician II or Supervisor.
  • Perform assigned hand bindery tasks, including folding, gluing, and finishing printed materials.
  • Maintain production flow by stocking materials and supporting team members as needed.
  • Inspect kits throughout the assembly process to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain production rates while meeting established quality expectations.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards throughout each shift.
  • Properly dispose of waste materials, cardboard, and other production debris.
  • Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, HIPAA requirements, and work instructions.
  • Participate in cross‑training across multiple production workstations.
  • Attend required meetings, safety training, and department communications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or production experience is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

Training and Advancement

Assembly Technician I employees participate in a structured training and validation program designed to develop competency across multiple production operations.

Successful completion of required validations and demonstrated performance may qualify employees for advancement to Assembly Technician II and other production support or leadership positions.
