Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is seeking an Assembly Technician I for the 3rd shift in Greenwood, SC. Core hours are 11:30 pm–7:30 am, Monday to Friday, with a $18.11/hour base rate plus $1.00 shift differential and eligibility for a variable incentive.

The Assembler I will focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity while assembling Low Voltage Assemblies and supporting Lean Line operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 months of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 3 months of experience using hand and air tools.
• Eaton does not provide immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
• No relocation assistance is available; candidates within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC will be considered.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
• Flexible and open to changes in processes or tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Low Voltage Assemblies and meet daily production goals.
• Allocate materials and prepare raw materials for assembly and testing.
• Perform electrical testing and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Operate various tools and understand electrical/mechanical drawings.
• Follow SOPs and work with team to support Lean Line operations.
• Ensure quality checks and safety compliance throughout the shift.

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Assembly Technician I - 3rd Shift to join our team in Greenwood, SC!

The core hours are 11:30 pm - 7:30 am, M-F.

The rate for this position is $18.11 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:

• The Assembler I will be responsible for achieving daily production goals with focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.
• This role will be responsible for assembling Low Voltage Assemblies.
• They will execute all required tasks including, but not limited to allocation of materials, preparation of raw material, assembly, electrical testing and preparation of finished product for shipment.
• They will work with a team and flex in all areas of the assembly operation as needed including Lean Line operations such as can prep, tape, bridge joint build, print paperwork and labels, brush testing, final test, and assembly.
• Flex Line and PowerWave2 assembly operations.

In this role, you will:

• Use fixtures, gauges, and various assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair components.
• Operate layout, drilling, sawing, punching, riveting, caulking, and painting tools/materials as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to perform tasks accurately.
• Follow standard operating procedures, method sheets, and supervisor instructions (written or verbal).
• Retrieve and stage materials for production; support assembly line operations as needed.
• Apply required identification labels and prepare finished assemblies for shipment or storage.
• Conduct visual inspections of materials and completed assemblies; perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and WSRA requirements.
