The Assembler I will be responsible for achieving daily production goals with focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. This role will be responsible for assembling Low Voltage Assemblies. They will execute all required tasks including, but not limited to allocation of materials, preparation of raw material, assembly, electrical testing and preparation of finished product for shipment. They will work with a team and flex in all areas of the assembly operation as needed including Lean Line operations such as can prep, tape, bridge joint build, print paperwork and labels, brush testing, final test, and assembly. Flex Line and PowerWave2 assembly operations.

In This Function You Will

Use various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust or repair assemblies.

Use of layout, drill, saw, punch, rivet, caulk and paint material as required.

Apply identification labeling on completed assemblies as required.

Retrieve and deliver materials to the assembly line as needed to initiate the assembly process.

Prepare assemblies for shipment or storage, as appropriate during the final assembly process.

Comply with all safety policies/procedures and WSRA’s.

Follow standard operating procedures and method sheets.

Read and comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings.

Comply with written or oral instruction from supervisor.

Responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembling.

Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.

Flex to other areas as needed or perform tasks in other positions as needed.
