Job summary

MSR-FSR in the Town of Saugerties, NY is seeking an Assembler I to join our Manufacturing team. You will assemble mechanical and/or electrical components using hand and power tools, following blueprints and visuals to build our products.

You will work with other assemblers, maintain a safe and organized workspace, and help ensure timely, high-quality output. A high school diploma and hands-on assembly experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 1–2 years of hands-on assembly experience.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Proficient in measuring and basic math.
• Able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints, and technical terms.
• Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process.
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in productions.
• Follow company procedures and directives.
• Check output to ensure highest quality.
• Keep records of production quantities and time.
• Report on issues, malfunction, and/or defective parts.
• Maintain the tools used to create products.
• Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
• Other duties may be assigned.
