CP USA is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The role involves laying out, assembling and wiring electrical control panels and relay racks on a full-time on-site schedule.

Regular hours are M-F 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with overtime opportunities. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in assembly, basic electrical knowledge, and strong attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.

Formación

• 2+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Reading schematics is a plus and can be taught.
• Knowledge of electrical theory and/or electrical assembly is a plus, but we can teach this.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble parts and components using hand and power tools.
• Cut and connect cables and/or wires to panels.
• Label wires and components and install labels/tags on panels.
• Install company name plates and identification labels on panels.
• Measure parts to determine tolerances using measuring instruments.
• Inspect, test, and adjust to ensure units meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Study and read schematics to diagnose issues with drawings and panel functionality.

Our regular work schedule is M-F 7AM-3:30PM with some overtime opportunities as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assembling parts and components using hand and power tools.
• Cut and connect cables and/or wires to panels.
• Label wires and components as well as install tags and associated labels on the panel boxes.
• Install company name plates and any identification labels and/or tags.
• Measure parts to determine tolerances, using measuring instruments
• Aid with inspecting, testing, point to point, adjusting and correcting issues found in testing to ensure units meet specifications, tolerances and customer requirements.
• Study and learn to read schematics in order to diagnose issues with drawings and functionality of the panels.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of electrical theory and/or electrical assembly is a plus, but we can teach this
• The ability to read schematics is a plus, but we can teach this
• High School Diploma / GED
