Advanced PMC in Owasso, OK is seeking an entry-level Assembly Technician to support our aerospace manufacturing operations. This role involves bench-top assembly, using hand tools, power tools, and presses to install hardware and assemble precision components.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, dependable, and eager to learn. On-the-job training will be provided; aerospace assembly experience is helpful but not required.

Mansioni

• Drill, ream, deburr, and countersink holes to meet drawing and work instruction requirements.
• Install nutplates, rivets, Hi-Lok fasteners, bearings, bushings, and other assembly hardware.
• Operate drill presses, hand drills, hand rivet squeezers, pneumatic presses, manual presses, and related assembly tools.
• Learn to read and follow engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and job travelers.
• Check hardware installation, fit, alignment, and workmanship throughout the assembly process.
• Use basic measuring tools to verify dimensions and completed work.
• Protect parts from scratches, dents, and other damage during handling and assembly.
• Accurately record completed work and required inspection information in our manufacturing system.
• Report damaged parts, incorrect hardware, or other issues before proceeding.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures.

Assembly Technician — Entry Level

Advanced PMC is seeking an entry-level Assembly Technician to support our aerospace manufacturing operations. This position performs detailed bench-top assembly work, installing hardware and assembling precision components using hand tools, power tools, and presses.

We are looking for someone mechanically inclined, dependable, and willing to learn. Previous aerospace assembly experience is helpful but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Experience with drilling, riveting, hardware installation, blueprint reading, or measuring tools is a plus. Candidates with technical school training, shop experience, or hands-on mechanical experience are encouraged to apply.

Work Environment

This position involves bench-top assembly in a manufacturing shop, with periods of sitting or standing, repetitive hand movements, and the use of hand tools and powered equipment. Required personal protective equipment must be worn.
