Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembly Technician in Franklin, MA for a contract-to-hire position. You will assemble extrusion frames and components, read blueprints, and perform mechanical and light electro-mechanical tasks to ensure product quality.

You will inspect, measure, and troubleshoot, with opportunities to cross-train and grow within a team-focused environment. The role offers on-site work, first or second shift, and pay between $21 and $22 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and experience with tools are required.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related hands-on work.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble extrusion frames and related components using hand and power tools.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to build products accurately.
• Perform mechanical and light electro-mechanical assembly tasks.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
• Use measuring tools to verify specifications and dimensions.
• Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to assemblies when needed.
• Support the integration of subassemblies into finished products.
• Cross-train in different assembly areas to expand your skills and experience.
