Job summary

Hanger invites qualified candidates to join our Chattanooga facility as a Manufacturing Assembly Technician. You will assemble components, verify parts against drawings, and document labor while upholding strict quality standards.

You will use hand and power tools, measure parts, and participate in safe, team-based operations. We value accuracy, reliability, and collaborative problem solving in achieving production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Experience in assembly/manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work safely and independently within a team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Able to read diagrams and BOMs.
• Desire to maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assembles products using instructions, bills of materials and engineering drawings.
• Interprets technical documents, such as diagrams or schematics, or other written instructions.
• Documents actions by electronically recording labor for each job.
• Ensures quality standards are met.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment per company standards.
• Uses hand tools and light duty equipment for assembly tasks.
• May perform painting, laser etching, sewing or plastic thermoforming.
