Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in High Point, NC is hiring assemblers for on-site manufacturing of bus components and assemblies. You will use hand tools, forming machines, and fixtures, following standardized work instructions to mass-produce or assemble bus parts.

The role requires the ability to work as part of a team, strong English communication, and availability for the 3rd shift. A high school diploma is preferred along with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools, adhesive dispensing equipment, forming machines, fixtures to assemble bus components and sub-assemblies.
• Install and assemble components for buses using drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
• Access company data via computer systems to support assembly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow safety protocols.
• Kitting of products, materials, and supplies.

**Inside the Role**Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery and following standardized work procedures at workstation or line assembly operations to mass-produce bus components or to assemble those components into a completed bus.**Posting Information**We provide a scheduled posting end date to assist our candidates with their application planning.
