Job summary

CIRCOR International, Inc. currently seeks a mechanically adept assembler in Corona, CA. The role requires performing highly complex assembly tasks, fitting, aligning, and adjusting components to tight tolerances, with exposure to hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic soldering.

Qualifications

  • Read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Good manual dexterity; ability to read blueprints and simple instructions.
  • Basic math skills for adjusting set pressures and calculations.
  • Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram or schedule instructions.
  • Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous improvement activities.
  • FAA training is a plus if FAA Repair Station designation applies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform highly complex mechanical assembly, fitting, aligning or adjusting components to close tolerances.
  • Possess knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, fluids and electronic principles with soldering exposure.
  • Troubleshoot, tear down analysis and rework operations.
  • May be trained in Clean Room techniques.
  • Mark parts using machines, hand stamps, and electro-etching equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of the following: hydraulics, pneumatics, fluids, and/or electronic principals with some soldering expertise
  • Will perform troubleshooting, tear down analysis and rework operations
  • May also be trained/proficient in Clean Room techniques.
  • May perform various marking operations using machines, hand stamp and electro etching equipment.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
POSITION DETAILS

  • Knowledge of the following: hydraulics, pneumatics, fluids, and/or electronic principals with some soldering expertise
  • Will perform troubleshooting, tear down analysis and rework operations
  • May also be trained/proficient in Clean Room techniques.
  • May perform various marking operations using machines, hand stamp and electro etching equipment.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Have good manual dexterity and the ability to work with detailed blueprints, procedures, assembly sketches or other written/verbal instructions of simple complexity.
  • Basic math skills to be able to calculate simple percentages regarding adjustment of set pressures.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists.
  • Perform moderate trouble shooting with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to embrace change and participate in continuous improvement activity.
  • If position is designated for FAA Repair Station, safety sensitive functions experience a plus. If not, FAA training is provided per the Repair Station Manual and Procedures.
Education

Education: High School Graduate or GED equivalent

PAY RANGE: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour (+ Shift Differential $0.75 per hour, if applicable). Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
