Orion Castings Cambridge Division in North Billerica, MA is seeking energetic Assembly Technicians to join our manufacturing team. First shift pays $20 per hour and second shift pays $22 per hour with a $2 shift differential.

Responsibilities include reading and following assembly drawings, using a microscope on occasion, and maintaining accurate manufacturing documentation in a fast-paced environment. Ongoing tuition reimbursement and 401(k) matching are offered to support growth.

Qualifikationen

• Decision making, problem solving, attention to detail, and collaboration with teammates are essential.
• Be mechanically inclined and able to use basic tools and test equipment for simple functional checks.
• Read and follow production documentation and assembly drawings.

Aufgaben

• Follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Read and follow production documentation, including assembly drawings and procedures.
• Use a microscope for some operations.
• Complete manufacturing documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Use some hand and power tools.
• Have some understanding of product flow.
• Work closely with engineers to generate assembly methods for new and existing products, solve assembly and related problems.
• Other tasks as needed or required.
