Job summary

ARCH Global Precision is seeking an assembly line worker to perform repetitive bench or line operations for mass production. The role involves placing parts, fastening components, and tending fastening machines on an assembly line.

Candidates should be able to follow directions, maintain quality, and adhere to safety policies. Physical requirements include standing for long periods and lifting up to 10 pounds. This position supports multiple workstations as models vary along the line.

Qualifications

Summary: Performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass-produce products by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.
• Tends machines, such as arbor presses or riveting machine, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
• Works at different work stations as production needs require.
• Works on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along the line.
• Follows safety procedures accordingly.

Education and/or Experience

• Equivalent to high school education or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Reasoning Ability
