Job summary

Century Furniture LLC in Hickory, NC is seeking a general assembler to perform assembly in designated area(s). You will plan daily activities based on the production schedule, read route cards, and assemble parts using glue, screws, and hand tools.

The role requires following safety policies and performing cleanup after assembly. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs with assistance, and work in a noisy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous assembly experience preferred.
• Regular lifting up to 40 lbs, up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• General assembly of products in assigned area(s).
• Plans daily activities based on a production schedule.
• Reads route cards to determine process.
• Assembles parts to complete product using glue, screws, and multiple hand tools.
• Sends product to cleanup when assembly is complete.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
