Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an Assembly Technician I to perform a variety of assembly tasks in the blade production process. Shifts include day, afternoon, and night to match production needs.

The role requires following work instructions, using hand and power tools, wearing PPE, and maintaining 5S standards while contributing to safe, efficient manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
• Stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Must wear respirator when required.
• Able to operate basic hand and power tools.
• Work well independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and assembly procedures.
• Wear PPE and follow safety instructions regarding chemical usage.
• Remove access tape and material from lightening cable inside the blade.
• Apply zip ties to lightening cable according to work instructions to attach it to the web.
• Take out stay bolts from the ring on the root of the blade.
• Insert plugs into bushings around the root to avoid dust in the bushing.
• Two individuals place donut inside the blade utilizing sika.
• Use of hand tools/scraper to even out sika that is applied to the edge of the donut.
• Maintain 5s Standards.

• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Requires wearing of respirator.

Desired Characteristics

• High School Diploma/GED or related experience.
• Previous Manufacturing experience.
