Job summary

Lincoln Electric Company in Michigan is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to build Lincoln Electric Automation designed machinery and equipment on-site. Read blueprints, perform welding and fabrication, and collaborate with engineers to ensure on-time project completion.

You will operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment, work with customers and teams, and contribute to quality objectives while following safety and documentation procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience or equivalent preferred.
• Commitment to company values.
• Educational, training, and experience requirements may be modified at the Managements Team’s discretion.
• Able to perform and support diverse build and assembly functions to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and pneumatic schematics.
• Organize and maintain build areas, tools, and materials.
• Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
• Work effectively with team members and customers to support successful and on-time project completion.
• Collaborate with assemblers, engineers, management, and support teams.
• Ability to perform welding and fabrication tasks as required.
• Complete all required checklists and documentation that are project-specific and/or all forms of assigned training.
• Travel as needed to support equipment installations, service work, and customer projects.
