Job summary

Enjet Aero is hiring an Assembly Technician in Bloomfield, CT. You will perform detailed aerospace assemblies, pressure and oil flow testing, and work from operation sheets and blueprints. The role offers growth in a precision manufacturing environment.

The position may be 1st or 2nd shift with a 20% differential for 2nd shift; training is available for the right candidate and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of aerospace assembly experience preferred.
• Capable of reading operation sheets and blueprints.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble studs, Heli-coils, pins, liners, and inserts.
• Light deburring of flow holes, re-tapping threads, and drilling wire holes using fixtures.
• Read operation sheets and blueprints accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Support peers, supervisor and other staff to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Salary Range: $25.00 To $35.00 Hourly

Position Description:

This position is for a 1st or 2 nd shift aerospace assembly technician. The candidate should be capable of performing detailed and complex assemblies, as well as pressure testing and oil flow testing. We are willing to train the right individual. 2 nd shift receives a 20% shift differential (Mon-Fri 330pm-12am)

• Assemble studs, Heli-coils, pins, liners, and inserts.
• Light deburring of flow holes, re-tapping threads, and drilling wire holes using fixtures.
• Able to read operation sheets and blueprints.
• Able to maintain quality standards and accurately measure and document completed work.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staff.
• Other duties as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience aerospace assembly experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity.
• Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Interested in learning from peers, operations, and engineering to improve processes, quality, and efficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

The posted pay range reflects the range established in good faith for this position. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on relevant experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
