Job summary

Kingmachllc is seeking an Assembly Technician to support our aerospace manufacturing operations. The candidate should have 2+ years of assembly experience, be mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail, and communicate well.

This is a full-time role in the Mukilteo area within a precision CNC machine shop serving the aerospace industry. We offer benefits including medical/dental/vision, long-term disability and life insurance, PTO/holiday pay, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Assembly Experience.
  • Demonstrate reliability with good attendance.
  • Strong attention to detail in assembly work.
  • Clear verbal communication skills.
  • Mechanical inclination with good manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

  • Install units, parts, equipment, and components in structural assembly per blueprints and specs using hand and power tools.
  • Bolt, screw, or rivet accessories to fasten subassemblies.
  • Drill holes and attach brackets, hinges, or clips for secure installation.
  • Locate reference points and holes using jigs, templates, and measuring tools.
  • Inspect and test installed units for fit, performance, and standards with measuring devices.
  • Position and align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures following blueprint lines.
  • Cut, trim, and file parts and verify fitting tolerances for installation.
  • Install bushings using liquid nitrogen or presses as required.
  • Apply sealants or paint per customer specs using safety devices.
  • Operate shop tools such as C-squeeze, arbor presses, ground stud puller, cherry pullers.
  • Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications with standard tools.
  • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings at a basic level.

  • Inspect and test installed units, parts, and equipment for fit, performance, and compliance with standards, using measuring instruments and test equipment.
  • Position and align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures, using measuring instruments, following blueprint lines and index points.
  • Cut, trim, and file parts, and verify fitting tolerances to prepare for installation.
  • Install bushings using liquid nitrogen or presses as required.
  • Apply sealants or paint per customer specifications using proper safety devices.
  • Use shop equipment needed to complete operations, such as C-squeeze, arbor presses, ground stud puller, cherry pullers, and shop hand tools.
  • Verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications using standard measuring tools as required.
  • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings at basic level.

Full‑time position: Monday – Thursday 6 AM to 4:30 PM, overtime as required.
