Job summary

ProMach’s Sentry Equipment division is seeking an Assembly Technician to build industrial machinery by interpreting blueprints and assembling mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. You will use hand and power tools, align parts, perform quality checks, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure precise builds.

The role emphasizes safety, organization, and contributing to a clean, efficient workspace in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical assembly is a plus.
• Experience in assembling industrial machinery or heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery assembly processes.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions for machinery.
• Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components for industrial machinery.
• Use hand and power tools to drill, tap, bolt, and secure machinery parts together.
• Align and adjust components to ensure proper function and fit.
• Perform quality checks and inspections to verify accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Identify and resolve assembly issues through troubleshooting and adjustments.
• Work with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate builds.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficiency and safety.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required protective equipment.

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling machinery components and ensuring they meet engineering specifications and quality standards. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, assembling mechanical and hydraulic components, using hand and power tools, and performing quality checks to ensure proper functionality. The technician must follow safety protocols, maintain production schedules, and contribute to a clean and organized work environment.

Base salary range: $21.50 - $31.00
