Job summary

Continental Electronics Corporation is seeking an Assembly Supervisor for our second shift (Mon–Thu 2:30pm–1:00am; some Saturdays; potential extended hours) to direct and mentor assembly staff responsible for RF transmitter assemblies. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and continuous process improvements within a manufacturing environment.

Requirements include 3+ years in a supervisory assembly role, ability to read technical drawings, and an Associate's degree.

Qualifications

• 3 years of supervisory experience in an assembly environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specs.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with safety regulations in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and manage assembly personnel and conduct reviews.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and address issues promptly.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety audits.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Monitor equipment wear and coordinate external maintenance when needed.
• Assist in budgeting and cost-control.
• Determine short- and long-term manpower/equipment needs and schedules.
• Coordinate with other supervisors to optimize labor, materials, and equipment.
• Cross-train as back-up in other manufacturing areas.
• Uphold core values and code of ethics; address disciplinary actions as needed.
