ASSEMBLY SUPERVISOR

JOB SUMMARY:

TH Plastics, Inc., is a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Bowling Green, Ohio Molding Division.

JOB OVERVIEW: Responsible for supervising hourly employees and that production needs are met.

SCHEDULE:

• 1stShift
• Monday – Friday
• 6:00am – 3:00pm
• Some overtime required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED
• 5 or more years of supervisory experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Regular on-site attendance

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(The following list does not include all duties and responsibilities)

• Review work orders and schedule assembly operators to work stations to meet production needs
• Communicate with supervisors from previous shift to receive important job information
• Detect and report defective material or questionable conditions to managers
• Handle personnel issues including conflict resolution and disciplinary action
• Complete shift reports, attendance reports, and post production schedules
• Give job assignments to material handlers
• Ensure operators maintain safety while working and report unsafe conditions to managers
• Assist with startups
• Supervise assembly operators and ensure efficiency and scrap goals are being met
• All other related duties as assigned
