ASSEMBLY SUPERVISOR

JOB SUMMARY:

TH Plastics, Inc., a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the position of Assembly Supervisor in our Bowling Green, Ohio Molding Division.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Responsible for supervising hourly employees and ensuring production needs are met.

SCHEDULE:

• 1st Shift
• Monday – Friday
• 6:00am – 3:00pm
• Some overtime required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED
• 5 or more years of supervisory experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Regular on-site attendance

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review work orders and schedule assembly operators to work stations to meet production needs
• Communicate with supervisors from previous shift to receive important job information
• Detect and report defective material or questionable conditions to managers
• Handle personnel issues including conflict resolution and disciplinary action
• Complete shift reports, attendance reports, and post-production schedules
• Assign jobs to material handlers
• Ensure operators maintain safety while working and report unsafe conditions to managers
• Assist with startups
• Supervise assembly operators and ensure efficiency and scrap goals are being met
• Perform all other related duties as assigned
