Job summary

Motherson Group is seeking a strong, energetic leader to manage daily Assembly operations in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing setting. You will plan and assign work, monitor schedules, ensure quality and 6S compliance, and support launches and changes across production lines.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of leadership experience in automotive manufacturing and solid PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in Automotive Manufacturing, preferably Assembly.
  • Intermediate PC skills: Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organization, problem solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily Assembly operations and plan/assign work.
  • Monitor production schedules, quality and 6S activities.
  • Analyze production metrics (OEE, scrap, downtime).
  • Maintain production systems and reports; support new product launches and engineering changes.
  • Optimize staffing and process flow; drive continuous improvement.
  • Motivate and develop employees; conduct interviews and performance reviews.
  • Enforce safety policies and achieve departmental targets.
