Job summary

Electrolux Home Products, Inc. in Springfield, TN is seeking a Repair Operator to support the production line by repairing gas and electric ranges to high quality standards. The role starts early morning and requires ability to troubleshoot and work with team members on the shop floor.

You will obtain a Brazer Certification within 30 days and may rotate to other repair tasks as needed. Familiarity with small tools and wiring schematics is expected; physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs is

• Math level 1 required.

• Brazer Certification must be obtained within first 30 days.
• Ability to communicate with Team Members and Production Supervisor
• Flexibility to rotate positions as needed
• Familiar with small tools for repairing; learn to repair cabinets and doors (cosmetic & electric)

Responsibilities

• Repairs gas and electric ranges to support the production of the highest quality products, on time, that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Troubleshoots functional defects.
• Backfill for associates who must repair workmanship errors.
• Understands basic A.C-R600. Experience preferred.
• Capable of handling complex tasks & repairing units in a timely manner while moving down the line
• Ability to communicate with Team Members and Production Supervisor

You will be based in our Springfield, TN location. The shift will start at 5:00 am and end at 1:30 pm. This role supports the production line and will follow production needs.

Your main tasks:

• Repairs gas and electric ranges to support the production of the highest quality products, on time, that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Troubleshoots functional defects.
• May on occasion, backfill for associates who must repair workmanship errors.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift packages 40 lbs. or less on a consistent basis
• Should be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.
• Should be able to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending
• Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet
