Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group's Quality Assurance Inspector in Assembly role ensures assembled products meet quality standards. You will inspect components and finished assemblies, report defects, and collaborate with production teams to resolve issues.

You will perform spot checks, conduct final inspections, document updates with photos, and record issues in Smartsheet, while supporting ISO compliance and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year related experience on an ASSA ABLOY assembly line or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret English documents; write and speak effectively.
• Familiarity with ISO quality requirements and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot checks to ensure that the production assembly adheres to established quality procedures.
• Communicate with manufacturing assistants regarding any quality concerns that may arise.
• Report relevant quality issues to the quality management team.
• Conduct final inspections on all units assembled by the production team.
• Capture photographs for updating factory documentation for each model.
• Monitor email for correspondence from the quality management team.
• Ensure that quality issues are recorded in Smartsheet.
• Other duties and specific responsibilities.
