Job summary

Certified Collectibles Group in Sarasota, FL seeks an Assembly Production Supervisor to lead a 30+ person team responsible for encapsulation and assembly of collectible cards. The role requires hands-on leadership, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration across divisions to meet production goals.

You will drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives, monitor KPIs with senior leadership, manage production planning and inventory, ensure safety, and support training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large production teams.
• Experience with production equipment such as sonic welders and manual vises.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, and ERP systems.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma and quality control initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 30+ assembly operators to hit production goals and maintain high quality.
• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to SOPs and quality control.
• Implement Lean Six Sigma initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs and adjust plans with senior leadership to optimize performance.
• Coordinate production planning, scheduling, and inventory management to meet objectives.
• Ensure safety and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate across divisions and leadership levels, including Supervisors and Directors.
• Support training and development initiatives for team members.
• Participate in overtime as needed to meet demands.
• Travel domestically and internationally approximately 10%.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS AN ASSEMBLY PRODUCTIONSUPERVISOR:

• Lead and manage a team of 30+ assembly operators to achieve production goals andmaintainhigh-quality standards.
• Identifypotential new methods and opportunities to further develop in-place processes and partner in continuedprofessionalizationinitiatives.
• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence toestablishedSOPs and quality control measures.
• Implement andmaintainLean Six Sigma initiatives and continuous improvement strategies.
• Monitor and analyze production KPIs, partnering with senior leadership to adjust plans andoptimizeperformance.
• Coordinate production planning, scheduling, and inventory management to meet businessobjectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations andmaintaina clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborateacrossother companydivisions,andmultipleleadership levels, including Supervisors, Senior Managers, Directors, and the COO.
• Support training and development initiatives for team members to enhance skills and productivity.
• Participate in overtime opportunities as needed to meet production demands.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed(approximately 10%).

WHAT MAKES YOU THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Proven experience managing large teams in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of production equipment such as sonic welders and manual vises.
• Proficiencyin computer programs including Excel, Salesforce, and ERP systems.
• Experience implementing quality control initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across leadership levels.
• Deep knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
