As the final step before products reach our customers, this role plays a vital part in ensuring exceptional quality, reliability, and on-time delivery while supporting continued business growth.

  • Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate defects and prevent quality escapes.
  • Manage, develop, and mentor a workforce of approximately 90 employees, including supervisors and team leads, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous learning.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Commercial, Planning, and Product Development teams to support customer requirements, new product introductions, and operational improvements.

  • Support capacity expansion and growth initiatives through effective workforce planning, onboarding, training, and certification programs.
  • Oversee assembly tooling, test equipment, and production assets through leadership of the Equipment Reliability function, ensuring reliability and uptime targets are met.
  • Participate in capital planning efforts by identifying production bottlenecks, developing business cases, and supporting the execution of approved improvement projects.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators including labor efficiency, scrap, utilization, cycle time, schedule adherence, quality performance, and cost management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related discipline) or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive manufacturing, production, or assembly leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading large, multi-shift teams in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, preferably AS9100 or similar regulated manufacturing standards.
  • Experience supporting multiple product lines with varying customer requirements and production processes.
  • Proven track record in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Strong KPI-driven leadership skills with experience utilizing standard work and visual management systems.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and team development capabilities.
  • Experience partnering with Engineering, Commercial, Quality, and Product Development teams.
  • SAP and Workday experience preferred.
