Job description

Join to apply for the Assembly Production Lead role at Pro-Active Engineering.

Pro-Active Engineering is seeking an Assembly Production Lead to work in our Box Build area. This role involves supervising production employees and performing specialized assembly tasks to ensure efficient and safe production processes.

Essential Functions
  • Trimming, clipping, tinning wires and leads
  • Assembling wire harnesses and ribbon cables to PCB assemblies
  • Final box build assembly using hand and power tools
  • Soldering thru-hole components and wires according to IPC-A-610 class 2 standards
  • In-process inspection of thru-hole components
  • Adhering to ISO Quality Management System standards
  • Providing coaching and development to employees
  • Assigning daily work to team members
  • Reviewing and resolving nonconforming products
  • Driving continuous improvement in the area
  • Participating in daily production meetings
  • Ensuring assembly processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of electronic components and equipment
  • Ability to perform basic thru-hole soldering per IPC standards
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or similar
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
