Job summary

Tadano in Georgetown, TX is seeking an Assembly Production Associate to plan, prepare, and assemble sub-assemblies and final assemblies of crane products, ensuring quality and on-time output.

Under the Production Supervisor, you will read blueprints, use hand and power tools, and participate in continuous improvement while maintaining safety and paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude with proficiency using hand and power tools.
• Basic math and measurement skills (fractions, decimals, tape measure, calipers).
• Forklift or overhead crane operation experience preferred (certification/training provided).
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job ClassificationJob Type: Full-TimeLocation: Georgetown, TX Office FLSA Status: Non-ExemptReports To: Production SupervisorJob SummaryUnder the general direction of a Production Supervisor, the Assembly Production Associate plans, prepares and assembles sub- assemblies and final assemblies of all crane products, meeting company standards for quality and quantity. May perform Assembler duties in any work center as required.Key Responsibilities• Follow documented procedures to perform safe and defect-free assembly and adjustment of parts and components.• Leverage lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and waste elimination.• Use hand and industrial power tools for assembly and lifting devices to move heavy components.• Be held accountable for completing standard work within a reasonable cycle time.• Crosstrain in other work areas and learn new work procedures.• Plan workflow and lay out jobs. Inspect parts for adherence to specifications; grind or torch as needed.• Fill counterweights, cut and stamp gaskets.• Assemble hydraulics and air lines.• Locate parts needed for the assembly process. Lubricate and grease parts.• Assemble cranes and crane sub-assemblies for standard products, first-run or pilot products in support of and meeting production schedules.
