  • Conduct visual inspections and identify defects; document findings.
  • Support prototype and production activities as needed.

Job description

Galaxy Therapeutics is seeking highly motivated Assemblers and Technicians to support the hands-on development and manufacturing of advanced neurovascular microcatheters and implantable medical devices.

About the Role

We are intentionally recruiting at multiple experience levels, from highly motivated early-career assemblers to experienced technicians with specialized microcatheter and implant assembly skills. This is a hands-on position requiring exceptional attention to detail, fine motor control, visual acuity, manual dexterity, and the ability to work with very small components under magnification.

Responsibilities
  • Perform precision assembly of medical-device components according to controlled procedures.
  • Work under magnification when required.
  • Handle small components and materials carefully.
  • Perform basic assembly, cleaning, preparation, packaging, labeling, and kitting activities.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and SOPs.
  • Perform visual inspections and identify defects.
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow all quality and safety requirements.
  • Assist experienced technicians and engineers with prototype and production activities.
  • Learn increasingly complex assembly processes as skills develop.
Qualifications
  • Previous medical-device assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Neurovascular, cardiovascular, catheter, microcatheter, implant, or other precision medical-device experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
  • Excellent visual attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working under magnification/microscope.
  • Ability to work with very small components.
  • Ability to follow detailed written procedures.
  • Ability to recognize defects and deviations.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
  • Comfortable working in an FDA/ISO-regulated environment.

Pay range and compensation package
  • Early Assembler: $26–$32/hour
  • Microcatheter Assembly / R&D Technician: $28–$38/hour
