Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc in Greer, SC is seeking assembly/packout associates to support the line, open cartons, apply labels, pack products, and ensure quality on schedule.

You will help maintain a clean, safe work area, assist line leaders, and perform duties as needed according to site requirements; a high school diploma is preferred and strong reading and communication skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with line leads and associates.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks on the assembly line per work orders and specs.
• Wrap and band pallets and move with a pallet jack.
• Remove trash and assist with line housekeeping.
• Assist line leaders as needed.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Work safely according to company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
