Job summary

nVent in Georgia is hiring an experienced EHS-focused manufacturing supervisor to lead daily assembly operations. You will ensure safety, quality, productivity, and timely delivery while promoting a strong safety culture on the floor.

The role requires 3+ years in an industrial setting, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. You will drive lean improvements, conduct inspections, and mentor teams to achieve excellent performance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an industrial environment focused on safety and environmental compliance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Job Description
  • Lead daily assembly operations while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals are achieved.

  • Promote a strong safety culture through active floor presence, employee coaching, and consistent enforcement of EHS policies and procedures.

  • Conduct safety observations, workplace inspections, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations to identify and mitigate hazards.

  • Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and EHS reporting requirements.

  • Coordinate employee training, onboarding, and cross-training to ensure safe work practices and adherence to standardized procedures.

  • Monitor production performance and material flow, using visual management tools to communicate expectations and results.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean manufacturing, Kaizen activities, and employee involvement in problem‑solving efforts.

  • Support compliance with company policies and applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations while fostering accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in an industrial environment with a strong emphasis on safety and environmental compliance.

  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem‑solving skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, squat, and kneel while inspecting equipment, storage areas, and incident scenes.

  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding to access elevated work areas.

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Flexibility to work overtime and assigned shifts, including weekends, as business needs require.

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range

$23.90 - $44.40 Per Hour

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
