Job summary

ITT Inc. is seeking a skilled assembler to join our manufacturing team. The role involves assembling components and subassemblies, following detailed work instructions, and ensuring parts meet quality standards.

A safe, efficient, and collaborative work approach is essential to succeed here. The candidate should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand throughout shifts, and learn additional duties across the department as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English and pass a basic math test.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• A positive “can do” attitude.
• Ability to work well with others in a team oriented atmosphere.
• Possess the desire to learn additional job functions within the department.
• Must be able to read part prints/drawings is a plus.
• Must have basic MS Office computer skills and be knowledgeable with Excel and E-mail.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of components and or complete assemblies either bolted or structural bonded.
• Fully trained and signed off as a qualified operator for all assembly processes associated with the assembly department. (e.g. Torqueing, Lock Wiring, Structural Bonding and Measuring.)
• Able to produce assembled units at the established production rates, not exceed expected scrap rates and inspect / verify that all assembled parts meet all quality requirements.
• Follow all work instructions as trained; including but not limited to Assembly manuals, Work Orders (routers), Supplemental Quality Inspections, General Workmanship Standards, etc.
