Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking an Assembly Operator for its Fairview, NC facility to perform component assembly using microscopes and small hand tools. You will follow drawings and work instructions to produce high-quality parts.

The role requires inspection of your own work, pull tests, and measuring components with calipers and gauges. You will maintain traceability through required paperwork, assist with minor repairs, and keep a clean, safe work area while adhering to company guidelines and

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or GED preferred.
  • Eligible to work under ITAR compliance.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret product blueprints.
  • Able to move materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficient in reading English instructions.

Job Overview

TE Connectivity is seeking candidates for an Assembly Operator position at our Fairview, NC facility. The Assembly Operator is responsible for component assembly. This role requires use of microscopes, small hand tools, and fitting components into fixtures. The ideal candidate can work well in teams, has the desire to learn, and possess the attention to detail needed to make quality parts for our customers.

Responsibilities

What Your Background Should Look Like
  • HS diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret product blueprints preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties.
  • Experience with using measuring devices (gages, calipers, etc.) preferred
  • 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must be able to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to remain in stationary position 75% of the time.
  • Must be able to operate machinery.
  • Must be able to move between work zones.
  • Must be proficient and able to understand written instructions in English language.

Compensation
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $18.10 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
