Join to apply for the ASSEMBLY OPERATOR I role at TE Connectivity

TE Connectivity is seeking Assembly Operator I candidates to operate automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot issues, and perform quality checks. Responsibilities include changeovers, setups, documentation, and maintaining a clean work environment in accordance with safety policies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Following work instructions for component assembly based on drawings.
• Testing electronics and mechanical parts requiring good hand-eye coordination.
• Reading manufacturing drawings and SOPs.
• Maintaining high cleanliness standards (5S).
• Testing wiring circuits and hardware.
• Inspecting electronic parts.
• Using tools like power supplies, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
• Welding PCBA and wiring (preferably J-STD certified).
• Demonstrating continuous improvement and following safety protocols.
• Using microscopes for detailed work.

Other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably in soldering and assembly.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Degree or certification as a Mechatronics/Electronics Technician.
• Adherence to quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of related manufacturing experience.
