Job summary

HADLEY in Grand Rapids is seeking an Operator to produce horns, compressors, and other components per customer requirements. The role reports to a Production Supervisor and requires basic reading, math, and assembly skills.

As an Operator, you will follow documented work instructions, maintain clean work areas, and comply with safety regulations. This position operates Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm, with hourly pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read/understand bills of material.
• 1-2 years’ light assembly experience preferred.
• Awareness and understanding of proper procedures to ensure safe use of assembly.
• Attention to detail and sense of urgency to meet customer needs.
• Work with minimal supervision individual and as a team.
• Computer literate.
• No known allergies to glue/paint/silicone.
• Ability to lift 40 lb without assistance.

• Build truck components per the customer requirements and quality systems.
• Compliance to standardized work using first/last piece inspection, audit log, work instructions and other processes to ensure consistent quality and productivity.
• Clean and maintain work area per cleanliness/5S standards.
• Comply with all safety regulations including personal protective equipment.
