Job summary

BorgWarner in Thriftwood, SC is hiring Assembly Operators to assemble components on the BorgWarner Assembly manufacturing line and ensure high-quality outputs. You will read work instructions, set up and operate equipment, and collaborate with team leads to meet production targets.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 35 lbs, and following safety protocols. Prior assembly experience is preferred, and basic computer knowledge and SAP entries may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months of assembly-related experience preferred.
• Willingness to be trained on the assembly line operations.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and visually inspect to quality standards.
• Load, unload, and move materials manually.
• Safely operate assembly equipment and follow work instructions.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping and follow nonconforming material procedures.
• Enter SAP transactions as needed.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE.

Assembles components, loads, unloads, and operates Assembly machines within a fast-paced environment to produce world-class quality products.To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
