Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Operator for the 1st shift in Defiance, OH. The role involves following assembly instructions, inspecting parts, and using air tools and jigs to build components.

You will enter part information into the ERP system and ensure quality standards are met. Candidates should be reliable, punctual, and able to read work instructions with basic math and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to use quality inspection equipment.
• Proficient in basic math and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Come to work every day, on time as scheduled.
• Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure parts meet standards.
• Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system.
• Familiar with fixtures and jigs used in assembly.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and setup to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Operate motorized walking stacker when required.
