Wastequip Manufacturing Company LLC is seeking an assembler to safely construct products and sub-assemblies according to work orders and blueprints. You will pack finished goods, inspect for quality, and ensure all items meet Wastequip specs on a daily basis.

The WQ Assembler will, safely assemble product or components to create a finished good and packs these products and or parts in approved shipping boxes, crates and containers as instructed by Standard Work Instructions, product blueprints, customer orders and or the Supervisor or Lead Hand. Shift hours: 7:00AM - 3:30PM Pay rate: $18.00 Responsibilities Receives and interprets work orders, material specifications as well as other work procedures to select, assemble and pack product components to complete a parts requisition order. The operations performed will support the overall success of the organization through correctly putting together individual parts to create a sub-assembly and combining sub-assemblies to create product kits. May need to utilize a forklift or pump cart to move goods around the shop floor. All products and parts built will be inspected by the Assembler for quality and are to be packaged neatly, banded securely to Customers or Wastequip’s specifications. The Assembler is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean work environment and will wear all mandated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when on the shop floor. Will report any unsafe act or condition requiring corrective action to their Supervisor or Lead Hand. Practices 5-S within their defined work area, returns all common tools to their proper place when not in use, and cleans the assigned work area once all work has been completed. As an individual and part of a team, the Assembler will strive to support continuous improvement across their individual and department tasks, as well as the organization. Performs simple and routine maintenance and safety checks to ensure all tools and equipment remain safe and fully operational; in the event a piece of equipment is unsafe or non-functional it should be immediately reported to the Supervisor or Lead Hand. Performs other duties as directed by the Supervisor, Lead hand, or Manager. This job is in a factory setting and is subject to changes in heat, humidity throughout the year.
