Job summary

Imperial Brady is seeking Assemble Operator / Production Operators to run the Bagging Machine and ensure quality control. You will feed rolls, cut material, check for defects, and prepare finished cartridges for packing in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Feed rolls into the bagging machine and cut material to length.
• Check material for defects to prevent jams and ensure quality.
• Change hydraulic staplers when needed and maintain machine uptime.
• Keep machine stocked with rolls and staples; receive replenishment stock.
• Pull finished material and wrap cartridges for boxing and track packaging.
• Set up chipboard daily for box preparation and pull cycles.
• Receive filled boxes and place completed boxes into Trucks or stock area.

The Assemble Operator / Production Operators operate the Bagging Machine according to established standards to ensure high levels of quality control are met and exceeded.

You will:

• Feed the rolls into the machine that staples the material; cut the strips of material to the appropriate length; feed the staples into the machine.
• Check the material for defects, preventing jamming of the material as it goes through the track.
• Change the hydraulic system staplers (guns) with spares, if necessary, due to maintenance, while keeping the machine running.
• Keep the machine stocked with material (rolls) and staples.
• R eceive replenishment stock from the receiving area .
• Pull the processed material ( Stapled) down from the machine above at a proper length.
• Finish each cartridge by setting up chipboard and tying the ends with rubber bands, place c artridges in the box, and set up for the track operator to close and finish packaging
• Set up chipboard every day to pull specific boxes a day per contract.
• Receive filled boxes and push down overflowing material into the boxes, and finish the box by stapling the top.
• S et up empty ready boxes for pullers by stapling the bottom, stamping the right size, and stacking boxes into trucks or the stocking area.
