Job summary

Dauch Corporation in North Carolina (Mebane) is seeking Assembly Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Starting pay is $20.99 per hour with 1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift and 0.60 for 3rd shift.

You will operate assembly equipment, follow SOPs, perform quality checks, complete logs and documentation, and maintain housekeeping.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and are safety-minded team players.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates all assembly equipment and machinery in a correct and safe manner at the required rate
• Follows the cell qualification process to achieve sign-off as qualified associate
• Line feeds as required
• Ensure that parts and components are assembled in accordance with SOP
• Perform all required quality checks
• Completes all relevant documentation (i.e. VE logs, 1st Piece Check, Reference Number log, scrap log, rework log, etc.)
• Performs all changeover operations on all machines correctly
• Perform first piece inspection
• Separates, tags and places all scrap/rework parts in designated area
• Ensure all housekeeping duties have been performed
• Perform any rework required and completes all necessary documentation
• Perform any other duties as specified
