Job summary

Strohwig Industries, Inc. in Richfield, WI is seeking an Assembly & Operations Support Technician. This hands-on role will focus on light assembly and support other operations, shipping, and maintenance tasks.

Company-funded CDL training is available for the right candidate, with DOT compliance required to operate regulated vehicles. The position offers consistent daytime hours (5:45 AM - 2:15 PM), a variety of duties across multiple departments, and a strong benefits package including

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive assembly tasks accurately.
• Dependable, adaptable, and willing to help wherever needed.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Current Class B CDL or willingness to obtain one through company-funded training.
• Ability to meet applicable DOT requirements before operating regulated vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform light assembly work, installing threaded inserts, fasteners, and other components into manufactured parts.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to complete work accurately and safely.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Operate company vehicles to transport materials, products, and equipment.
• Assist with shipping and receiving, including packaging, loading, unloading, and moving materials.
• Help with light maintenance, equipment cleaning, and general facility upkeep.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment after completing required training.
• Support other departments and assist with additional projects as needed.
