A-dec is seeking an Assembly Operations Lead to drive safe, efficient production across sub-assembly, final assembly, and packaging in our Newberg, Oregon facility.

You will coach a cross-functional team, implement lean improvements, manage staffing and training, and collaborate with HR to address workforce needs while ensuring regulatory compliance. This role blends hands-on leadership with continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Formación

• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• 1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, operations, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent combinations may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily assembly operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Coordinate workflow across sub-assembly, final assembly, and packaging work cells to ensure throughput and on-time delivery.
• Ensure operational readiness including materials, tools, staffing, and process capability.
• Monitor KPIs (safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, attendance) and take corrective action.
• Identify and resolve issues related to workflow, materials, quality, staffing, and equipment; escalate as needed.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members; support performance management, training, onboarding, and engagement.
• Manage workforce administration including timekeeping, attendance, and scheduling.
• Partner with HR to address staffing needs and employee relations.
• Ensure adherence to standard work, quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean principles and cost-reduction initiatives.
