Job summary

Prince Manufacturing Corporation, located in Brookings, SD, is hiring for an assembler on a Monday-Thursday 4x10 hour shift. Start times are 5:00 AM or 7:00 AM. No experience is necessary; on-the-job training will be provided.

Safely assemble, test hydraulic components, operate CNC and welding equipment, and support paint and machining tasks. Candidates must lift up to 70 pounds and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test hydraulic cylinders and parts.
• Set up and operate CNC and other machines for precision parts.
• Weld parts with a robotic welder and perform related tasks.
• Use forklift to transfer materials as needed.
• Operate paint system and mix paints.
• Perform transactions using computer software.

Prince Manufacturing Corporation is a U.S. Manufacturer of hydraulic components. The Brookings, SD location is currently looking for a full-time assembler who will be willing to continuously learn different aspects of our manufacturing processes such as assembly, paint, welding, and machining. No Experience is necessary! On the job training will be provided.

Monday – Thursday – working 4 10-hour shifts (Start times at 5:00 AM or 7:00 AM).

Employees must be flexible and willing to float between departments and tasks depending on production needs. Employees may be trained to do the following:

• Assemble and test hydraulic cylinders including arranging parts, washing, stamping and packing parts, operation of assembly equipment and other equipment necessary in assembly operation and tests cylinders.
• Set up and operation of CNC and other machines to produce precision parts.
• Use of a robotic welder to weld parts together, and other tasks such as thermal cutting or grinding.
• Use of forklift to transfer materials.
• Operation of paint system including preparing surfaces, mixing paint using ProMix system, and paint surfaces.
• Perform various transactions using computer software.
• Use of a variety of tools and precision instruments necessary to meet specifications outline in blueprints and test tolerances, check for defects and verify conformance standards.
• Actively practice safety rules.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must have a high-school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have basic computer skills including operation of a mouse and keyboard.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Must have a good attendance record.
• The ability to use tools will be extremely helpful.
• Must be able to stand for an extended period of time.

Pay: $21 with regular evaluations and benefits
