Job Description: Jet Engine Assembler

We are seeking skilled professionals for the assembly of new jet engines, with potential involvement in rebuilds and overhauls.

Qualifications and Priorities:

• Military experience in repairing or maintaining powerplant equipment is preferred and will be given first priority.
• A&P licensed technicians are also highly suitable candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble engines using tool lists, BOMs, and sequential instructions. Materials include both paper-based and electronic formats.
• Perform mechanical work on sub-assemblies and final assembly of engines.
• Work may be conducted sitting or standing at a bench or in an assembly area with hanging engines.
• Complete full engine build-outs, which typically take between 500-1000 hours.
• Maintain quality standards by inspecting own work and others' work based on inspection sheets. No testing is required.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and operate hoists and pallet jacks. Torque values are provided; technicians must know and apply them accurately.

Additional Details:

• Work environment involves both bench work and assembly areas.
• Work tasks are varied and change daily.
• Tools include manual and power hand tools, with no overhead cranes or forklifts used.
