Job summary

Productive Resources is seeking a manufacturing engineer for our Horicon, WI facility to plan, coordinate, and perform engineering work for a project or process. You will operate on the shop floor with wage and production staff and communicate progress to management.

A HS Diploma with about 3 years of engineering experience is required. This full-time position offers growth opportunities within our organization and the chance to work in a team-oriented environment focused on manufacturing

Qualifications

• HS Diploma with at least 3 years of engineering experience or internships.
• Ability to troubleshoot on the shop floor with production personnel.
• Comfort working in high-pressure situations and communicating progress.

Responsibilities

• Operate on the shop floor assisting wage and production staff with troubleshooting.
• Communicate project progress to management and cross-functional teams.
• Support production engineers with root-cause analysis and improvements.
• Collaborate with tooling and assembly processes to optimize workflows.
• Assist in direct line support and issue resolution during manufacturing.

Job description

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team for our customer's facility in Horicon, WI. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering work for a project or process. Operate in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process. At this level, projects are of limited scope and responsibility; work plans and decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors and/or managers. May assign coordinate and review portions of the work for support personnel and contractors.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

• Will be on shop floor working with wage and production employees' helping with troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills for all levels of organization.
• The role involves direct line support for production employees and communicating project progress to management.
• May drive a JD Gator inside the factory after completing training.
• May drive a personal vehicle to other facilities for meetings as needed.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma with minimum 3 years engineering experience. Also open to new grads that have completed engineer internships.
• Will be on shop floor working with wage and production employees' helping with troubleshooting.
• Be comfortable working in high pressure situations - Being able to work through challenges.
• Someone that has ambition, eager to learn, is highly engaged.
• Problem solving and trouble shooting skills are essential.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of assembly processes and tooling.
