Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of production machine operator experience.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions/decimals.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of 6S preferred.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and follow setup instructions for cutting machines and related tools.
• Fabricate parts and assemblies using hand and power tools.
• Perform basic operator preventative maintenance.
• Inspect finished work against drawings for accuracy.
• Maintain safety, quality and housekeeping standards.
• Report fabrication issues and participate in problem resolution.
