Job description

Nesco Resource is looking for Assembly/Machine Operators in Bethel, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position for the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday- Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Pay: $17.00- $18.50/hour, depending on experience.

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for the forming of medical device components using manual labor in conjunction with various machines. The offering position requires the candidate to have the ability to sit and stand for periods of time, read and understand work instructions, and complete necessary documentation as instructed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Form parts with 10lbs of force.
  2. Heat treat parts.
  3. Read/Fill out routers steps and Identification labels.
  4. Set-up and adjust equipment to specifications.
  5. Demonstrate good housekeeping skills.
  6. Adhere to and enforce safety guidelines.
  7. Be aware of the department's quality goals and workmanship.
  8. Complete all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  1. High School graduate or equivalent.
  2. Microscope skills experience.
  3. The use of micrometers, gages and calipers.
  4. Basic computer skills.
  5. Must be reliable and responsible.
