Job summary

BMZ USA, Inc. in Virginia Beach is seeking a production assembler to assemble and test lithium-ion battery configurations, and to ensure high-quality output.

Essential Functions

• Assemble and test various lithium-ion battery configurations
• Maintain clean and organized work area(s)
• Maintain the highest quality of work and ensure the highest quality product is produced
• Offer suggestions of improvement
• Additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by Production Supervisor or designated representative

Working hours are Monday-Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with occasional overtime as needed

All shifts include 10-minute paid breaks and a 30-minute unpaid meal break.

Occasional overtime and weekend hours may be offered.

The noise levels in some manufacturing facilities frequently may exceed the normal dBA. Work conditions may include elevated noise levels requiring hearing protection. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to some mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock.

The employee may be required to wear safety glasses and possibly hearing protection, as well as proper grounding equipment to eliminate the chance of electro-static discharge.
